Hi! I'm Sheila Ciminera. I am a licensed clinical social worker and certified acudetox specialist. I've been an artist since I was a teen, and my first career was in multimedia arts (graphic design and web design). After experiencing some growth and healing through my own therapy, I realized I wanted to help others seeking healing, hope, and change.

I have worked extensively with formerly incarcerated individuals on their reintegration journeys, folks with histories of trauma and oppression, helping professionals coping with compassion fatigue, and many dealing with substance use struggles. Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of being a case manager, program developer, team leader, individual and group therapist, clinical supervisor, trainer, and social work professor. I am also on the board of Public Health Acupuncture of New Mexico, an organization making acupuncture accessible to New Mexicans. I love teaching and collaborating with my fellow heIping professionals.

I am also strongly committed to sharing knowledge so our clients receive the best services possible. I feel so lucky and honored to do this work with my community. I love animals (particularly my two pitties), reading, art, photography, punk rock, memes, and retail therapy.
