Long COVID is a chronic condition that some develop after having COVID-19. It is estimated that 17 million adults in the United States currently have long COVID. Long COVID can include a wide range of neurological, cardiovascular, respiratory, and digestive symptoms that can last weeks, months, or even years. Long COVID can also have a significant impact on mental health.

I am a clinician and human living with Long COVID (a "long hauler"). I will share some of my experiences to illustrate the concepts of this training.

Objectives for participants:

  • Obtain an overview of the symptoms of Long COVID and how it affects the body and mind

  • Gain understanding of how Long COVID impacts the brain and subsequently, mental health

  • Examine common long hauler mental health symptoms, such as derealization and depersonalization

  • Explore post traumatic stress that may accompany Long COVID/chronic illness

  • Identify coping tools to support your clients living with Long COVID (and you will be given a plethora of resources for them)

If you are a long hauler (have Long COVID) please contact me for a coupon code before registering!
